Mary Ann Baynton is a workplace relations specialist who helps resolve issues for individuals, teams and organizations. Her area of expertise includes workplace mental health, psychological safety, resolving conflict, and addressing performance concerns. She focuses on helping people get unstuck, move beyond problems, restore productivity, and improve working lives. She found that she could not personally meet the level of demand for these services and that small business owners were often unable to afford these services, even though they employ the majority of employees with mental health concerns. Through Mindful Employer Canada’s webinars and materials Mary Ann will be able to reach out and support all of those who strive for positive workplace mental health in a timely and cost-effective manner.
In another role, Mary Ann proudly serves as the Program Director for the Great-West Life Centre for Mental Health which provides free, practical ideas, tools and resources to help with the prevention, intervention and management of workplace mental health issues.
