About the Event
Join Mary Ann and Sarah as they chat with Ryan Adams, the Director of Impact Programs and Partnerships at Benevity, about corporate social responsibility and the effects it can have. Many of us volunteer or donate to organizations and charity in our personal life, but how can we incorporate that into our work life? What does it look like? What are the benefits? How do we get started?
A few of the questions we’ll be discussing with Ryan are:
“What is corporate social responsibility?”
“How can organizations and individuals embed it into their business?”
“If you’re a small business, what are some steps you can take to make a difference?”
“What should you keep in mind as you’re getting started?”
“What are the challenges or hurdles many face along the way?”
If you’re joining us for this month’s event, please donate what you can to Food Banks Canada. Food Banks Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to helping Canadians living with food insecurity. They support a network of Provincial Associations, affiliate food banks, and food agencies that work at the community level to relieve hunger. Their work is focused on maximizing collective impact, strengthening local capacity, and reducing the need for food banks. You can donate by visiting: https://www.foodbankscanada.ca/
